These week-long, half-day camps are open to children new to Jammers, and serve as the required audition for our performance groups. Camp participants will experience firsthand the high energy, uniquely hands-on teaching style of award-winning educator David Reynolds, Jr. and the Jammers camp staff.  Children will have daily sessions in drum set, hand drumming, and mallet percussion ensemble.  No prior musical experience is required.  Your child may only attend one week of camp.

Jammers Tech & Advanced Tech

Jammers Tech is our newest program. This group is open to 6th-12th graders who are interested in learning how to capture, produce, edit and deliver video content. This program has a beginner and advanced level class offered in semesters. This Fall the beginner level class meets two Mondays a month at Jammers Headquarters from 4:00-5:00 pm. Class size is limited, so application for enrollment is required. No prerequisite background in A/V is required. The advanced level class is only open to students who have already taken the beginner class.  This Fall it meets on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15 pm once a month. Advanced Tech students also have the opportunity to come in to JHQ to capture and edit footage as well as manage our social media accounts. Jammers Tech students are in charge of creating and capturing promo and production materials in-house for the Jammers ensembles. If your child is interested, they can check out more info here.
