Saturday, 5/21/2022:

2:00 pm: Report to Capital One Hall main entrance to check in

Each Jammer needs their Jammers outfit (wearing or to change into), a snack, water, and phone (if applicable)

All items must fit in a drawstring bag like the one pictured.

2:00-4:00 pm rehearse with Bakithi in the Hall
-
4:00-5:00 pm walk through sound check
-
5:00-6:00 pm dinner (Wegman's pizza cheese or pepperoni, chocolate chip cookie and water)*

6:00-6:45 pm pre-show prep

6:45-7:00 pm places for show

7-7:35 pm 1st half

7:35-7:50 pm intermission: Jammers will remain backstage during this time

7:50-8:45 pm 2nd half

After show, break down equipment, get it to the truck and grab your things from backstage greenrooms

FAQs
Does My Jammers have to wear their outfit when they arrive?
No, they can bring it to change in to, OR they can wear it the entire time
I'm a chaperone, where do I go?
Chaperones pick up your lanyard at Kate's house, and check in at the front doors.
Will my child have access to bathrooms?
Yes, each green room has individual bathrooms, and there are a few different bigger bathrooms backstage
What will my child do when they aren't on stage performing?
They will be chaperoned by an adult in their green room where a video and audio feed from the stage will be shown.
Can I record the show?
No flash photography is allowed, and we ask that you not hold up any device to record in front of other patrons.
We have obtained the rights to record and sell the footage which will be captured by Jammers Tech students. We will also have a back-up confidence recording done by professionals that we can use as well.
If my child has allergies, can they pack their own food?
Yes! All jammers should bring water and a snack (or two), but those with allergies should also pack dinner.
How will I reconnect with my Jammer after the show?
Once the show is over, we will have stage crew backstage to help strike, and Jammers will collect their belongings in the green rooms and then return to the stage to go into the audience to reconnect with their adult guardians.
Is the Jammers season done after the Big Jam?
No! We've got one more week of rehearsals, and then those groups that have enough jammers available to perform on Monday, May 30th, @10 am will perform at Viva Vienna. (You'll get a form to let us know your availability). The rest of that week is the Jammers Parties! We will celebrate the year with ice cream, sign the Jammers wall, fill out surveys, and then the season will be officially over!

What is the mask policy for Jammers and Audience?
Jammers have the option to mask at all times during their time at Cap One, both on-stage and off.
Audience will follow the guidelines of Capital One Hall which can be found on their website by scrolling to the bottom and clicking on Mask and Vaccination Requirements.
Did you pre-order a "I think therefore I jam" t-shirt?
It will be available for you to pick up and pay for at the merch table in the lobby. The table will be available when he doors open at 6 pm.
Can my child bring electronics?
While we cannot take responsibility for damage, loss, or theft, Jammers may bring phones or small electronic devices to have with them and use during off-performance times. No devices will be allowed on-stage.
